Onward March!

With Ninong moving up to a higher post, I find myself alone with all of his accounts. Sure, he's just in the other side of the office floor but of course I cant act like a baby girl expecting him to help me everytime..after all, I was hired for this job.

Vacation days are over, and its time to march on to the tasks at hand. BM has been so far super supportive, making himself approachable to any questions or assistance I might need. Despite his own tier's chaos, it seems he enjoys fresh blood in his team. I actually dont feel 'alone'.

So whats the point of this entry? Wala lang. These days I slowly am getting into the groove of things in salesgirl's life. I find myself picking up the pieces Ninong left-- whether endorsed or not endorsed. I now face the tasks of sales tracking, forecasting, lost invoices and long distance driving. At times nakakabigla, but I put effort not to get rattled-this is my new world after all.. and I sense that this is just the tip of the iceberg..

Episode Title: PARKING LOT Part 2

On another coding day, my friend , again left home early for a provincial assignment. Learning from her previous experience, she makes sure she has all the proper workwear before leaving. She even left earlier than usual so she can have breakfast at the gas station. Having had chicken sandwich, she then makes a mental note to brush her teeth at the gas station's restroom. Arriving at the destination's parking lot, and realizing that the mental note was forgotten, she scans the area :
toothbrush in bag-CHECK;
toothpaste in bag-CHECK;
drinking water in the car-CHECK;
car parked at left without passengers & no car parked at the right-CHECK;
car parked at a safe distance from possible onlookers-CHECK;
Security guard safely away from the car-CHECK!!!!
Go Go Go!!! Toothbrush na!!!!

Then her boss suddenly parks at the empty parking space at the right—he even waves at her briefly ==making her suddenly throw her toothbrush and muntik na malunok yung toothpaste sa bibig! Hahahaha!

ONCE AGAIN, Thank you Lord for portable sun shields and dark window tints.

LESSON LEARNED: Never brush your teeth at a parking lot when you’re going to meet your boss.

Episode Title: Parking Lot

On a coding day, my friend, left home early for a provincial assignment. Whilst driving along almost halfway to the destination, she suddenly discovers that she left her "work" shoes at home! WATDAFAK! She's wearing her driving tsinelas with slacks and a formal long sleeved blouse. Super bagay diba? Why not bagong fashion statement! She thinks.. and thinks.. "what to do, what to do?" OKAY! Change into a non-formal shirt at the destination's parking lot. Dati syang girlscout kaya may baong pamalit. Good job! Great Idea! Yun nga lang while removing her shirt, biglang may nagpark na pick-up sa tabi ng car with about 5 guys..

Thank you Lord for portable sun shields and dark window tints.

LESSON LEARNED: Make sure you're wearing the appropriate workwear-from head to foot before getting into that car.
