Techie...NOT!!!

I am not a Techie person. I have no affinity for electric devices nor for the new gadgets available.

I remember an instance when I always had problems plugging 110V equipment into 220V sockets. Hahaha.. kulang na lang himatayin ako sa takot na baka masira yung mga equipment sa lab. So what I did was to label all sockets and power cords with the appropriate voltage.. out of need, ika nga.

Even in the dawn of cellfones, I resisted buying or having one until I realized it was absolutely necessary. I hung on to my 5110 even if my officemates offered they would buy my unit for P500. Masakit din sakin yun kasi mahal ko yung fon na yun! But of course nung nanakaw sya courtesy of our neighborhood snatcher, I had no choice but to buy a new one. And the next change in my cellfone unit came about when my old one finally failed to function.

Whenever I have a new electronic gadget, I have no patience in browsing the equipment manuals. Except if its work related and I have to know the functions of a new lab equipment. But for personal stuff that I bought for myself, whether it be a cellfone or a TV, I usually just "discover" what the buttons are for. Heck, my roomate knows my DVD player's functions better than I do!! I just tell her to teach me what the remote control buttons are for and how to use them.. pathetic no?? parang ako lang nakikigamit. hehe. tamad kasi eh.

I know I should change this habit cause I should know my own belongings.. anu ba yung statement na yun!! hehe.. anyway, kahit na inaantok ako sa pagbabasa ng manual, I will try my best!! So for my latest electronic purchase... goodluck to me!!
